(Europe) Niresh Rajah, Managing Director, Head of Data, RegTech, & Digital Advisory Practice at Grant Thornton UK, speaks with Jason Masker, Field Chief Technology Officer, Stratascale (an SHI company), in a video interview about Grant Thornton’s business and its role in partnering with data leaders within organizations.

Rajah explains that Grant Thornton is a global professional services firm covering advisory, assurance, tax, and corporate finance. He notes that one of the organization’s major roles is providing advice, assurance, and implementation support for all aspects of data, digital, and regulatory change.

Speaking about the overall initiatives Rajah is involved with, he highlights three areas:

• Working with leading UK-listed organizations to provide data strategy, analytics, platforms, engineering, and support, and helping chief data officers and operating officers maximize data value. It is not only from an offensive standpoint like revenue generation, working with customers, and developing new initiatives, but also from a defensive standpoint of meeting regulatory requirements.
• Innovation in the environmental social governance (ESG) space, creating data platforms, strategy, and maturity models.
• Ecosystem partnerships and partnering with about 50 up-to-date technologies and data vendors.
