(US and Canada) We are pleased to welcome Asha Saxena to CDO Magazine’s Global Editorial Board. Saxena is the Founder and CEO of Women Leaders in Data and AI (WLDA), an exclusive mastermind group helping women leaders in data and artificial intelligence succeed both personally and professionally. She is also a professor at Columbia University in New York City, teaching graduate students healthcare consulting and entrepreneurship, and is a partner with CEO International, coaching CXO leaders.
A strategic, innovative leader with a proven track record for 25 years, Saxena has built and sold three successful tech businesses. Most recently, she served as CEO and Chairperson of Future Technologies Inc., a data management firm that provided warehousing, analytics, and intelligence services. Previously, she was also the CEO and Chief Innovation Officer of ACULYST, which provided best-in-class healthcare analytics services through a pre-built model that integrates clinical, financial, and operational data. Asha has served on a number of for-profit and nonprofit boards, and is a contributor and international speaker on a variety of technology, data, AI, and women-related issues.
Saxena has her master's degree in data science and machine learning from Southern Methodist University, Texas, and her undergraduate degree as a computer science engineer from Bangalore University in India. She has attended management programs at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and London Business School. In the area of operational excellence, she is certified as a Six Sigma Black Belt professional.
