CDO Magazine's inaugural New York Data Leadership Dinner on September 17 brought together senior enterprise data, analytics, and AI executives for a focused exchange on “Unlocking the Power: Transforming Business through Unstructured Data Management.”
The evening’s dialogue centered on three pivotal topics:
the role of AI/ML in unlocking unstructured data's potential
AI and data regulation
the financial implications of deploying AI at scale.
“A TERRIFIC time at our inaugural NYC CDO Magazine Data Leadership Dinner!,” says Co-Chair of New York Executive Board Iwao Fusillo, PepsiCo Global Head of Data & Analytics - Digital Commerce. “Sharing insights with like-minded data professionals on how our companies are addressing the challenge of translating unstructured data to actionable insights through AI was amazing. Andrew Reiskind, Mastercard Chief Data Officer, shares his experience saying: “The conversation with my peers at our CDO Magazine dinner Tuesday night was once again enlightening as to areas of commonality and divergence in our ever-evolving arena of leveraging AI, including areas of responsible AI where there is a consensus as to its need, but also differing points of view as to how companies and society should achieve that critical goal. Such conversations push all of us to continually be considering how we improve our own implementation of Responsible AI – which will help not just us but also our society as a whole.”
Purvi Shah, American Express VP of Product Development, Enterprise Data Platforms, thanks CDO Magazine and her co-hosts for organizing the event: “In a fast-evolving data and AI space, it is great to have the opportunity to connect with fellow peers who are on a similar journey. Enjoyed insightful and lively discussions on several topics including unstructured data management, evolution in the AI regulatory space, and generating actionable insights. Look forward to supporting this thriving community.”
