Targeted Learning Solutions for Corporate Clients

MAX Technical Training is the trusted leader in IT and business technology education. MAX works with companies to create best-in-class custom training programs for their mission-critical operations.

The company was founded by Denise Bartick as a “career changer” training company in 1998. 20 years on, this private Cincinnati-based enterprise has become an invaluable ally to Fortune 100 businesses, up-and-coming companies, and motivated, knowledge-thirsty individuals throughout the tri-state and beyond.

Customization and intense client focus are what differentiate MAX from training companies selling standard, commoditized training offerings.

MAX has a B2B focus that helps companies get the maximum value for their training investment. Corporate clients have successfully worked with MAX to transition existing employees from one technology platform to another. Transitions such as this let companies preserve hard-won business knowledge and historical perspective while upgrading the skills and talents of their workforce.

Customized programs can be tailored to meet the specific requirements of a business. Traditional full week training can be structured over three days, six half days, or four Saturdays, for example. Training can be conducted at MAX’s comfortable, spacious facility or on site at the client company. Curricula can be modified, eliminating modules a company considers unnecessary to meeting the goals of their organization. Targeted training can also be customized to include, for example, the company’s business staff along with IT staff to promote goal alignment and integration so important in today’s environment.

One company brought over 40 associates to MAX for a full week’s custom class, covering such skills as Project Management, Agile and ITIL. The company’s own subject-matter experts worked alongside MAX instructors to help their non-IT associates understand how these skill sets would be used back at their organization.

MAX also helped a state government roll out the SharePoint Web-based collaborative program across all its agencies. The company worked with stakeholders to customize a training program specific to the state’s requirements. MAX has already delivered several of these private classes at the state headquarters, and will continue the training at agency locations statewide.

Companies that do not require entire classes customized for their needs can place employees into any of the many MAX courses offered for open enrollment. After customizing a Developer Apprentice program for Great American Insurance, MAX developed a series of open enrollment bootcamps, called Cincy Code IT, to offer training in Java, .NET and IT infrastructure. Students must pass an aptitude test to ensure they can succeed, but no previous IT experience is required.

MAX prides itself on the quality of its instructors. To handle the breadth of training disciplines, the company has recruited a team of subject-matter experts who are also highly adept educators. MAX instructors understand students’ challenges and work with them to quickly bring them up to speed on subject matter.

While MAX provides many opportunities for individuals to observe classes and attend open house sessions, businesses interested in a customized program are encouraged to contact MAX directly.

MAX Technical Training is located at 4900 Parkway Drive, Cincinnati, OH 45040. The company can be reached at 513.322.8888 or www.maxtrain.com.
