What’s the state of business technology in greater Cincinnati region? How do we compare to other cities nationally or globally?

“I think business technology in greater Cincinnati is growing. When I started in IT almost twenty years ago, IT wasn’t as big as it is today. Now we have big companies doing analytics and that has attracted people from other cities and even other countries to our city.  Two of our IT guys here run a Power Shell User Group in Cincinnati and we are seeing more of these types of user groups splitting out at host sites to collaborate and network. We may not compare to Silicon Valley, but Cincinnati has become its own little hot spot.”
