Do you view business as a customer or a partner of IT?

“IT and product development is a business today, and there really isn’t separation. Sometimes at Paycor we say, if we had a dollar more to invest, we would invest it in IT and product, because it would serve our clients better by giving them a better overall experience, better support and more robust products. Spending more on IT also makes us run more efficiently inside our business, by focusing spending on internal automation, controls, etc. It’s true in our domain, and we talk to many companies in many different domains - it’s all about enabling people through software tools and automation.”
