(US and Canada) Otsuka Pharmaceutical Companies (U.S.), a subsidiary of Otsuka Holdings specializing in the development, manufacturing, and marketing of pharmaceutical products in the U.S., has recently appointed Jane Urban as VP, Customer Engagement Operations.

The newly formed division at Otsuka Pharmaceutical Companies is focused on data-driven strategies and digital customer engagement, aiming to integrate omnichannel, sales and marketing operations, learning and development, field effectiveness, data science, analytics, forecasting, insights, and competitive intelligence. The objective is to prioritize patients and healthcare professionals (HCPs) by leading a transformation toward a customer-centric approach.

Before joining Otsuka Pharmaceutical Companies (U.S.), Urban had a distinguished career spanning nearly seven years at Takeda. Throughout her tenure, she held various positions, culminating in her most recent role as VP, Head of Data, Digital, and Technology for Global Medical and Global Commercial. In this role, she played a pivotal role in shaping the role of data, digital, and technology within the global medical and commercial teams. Her focus was primarily on enhancing the patient digital journey and driving positive outcomes.

Urban has held healthcare commercialization-related roles in analytics, forecasting, marketing, digital marketing, commercial operations, and market research. With over 15 years of cumulative experience, she has 10 years of team management experience.
