(US and Canada) Leading global software services provider Echelle Resources has appointed Samuel Davis as Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer. Davis brings extensive experience in strategic technology planning, corporate partnerships, and digital transformation.

In his new role, Davis will oversee the development of Echelle’s technology strategy, foster corporate partnerships, and drive new revenue initiatives. He joins Echelle from his previous role as Chief Information Officer at the Franklin County Department of Jobs and Family Services, where he led information management impacting more than 1.2 million customers.

Davis’ career also includes executive positions such as Head of Automation and Chief Technology Officer at Gordon Food Services, as well as Director of Software Engineering at Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company, where he was a member of the Corporate Technology Executive Cabinet.

Alongside his professional achievements, Davis is actively engaged in philanthropic and nonprofit efforts. He is the Founder and CEO of Good Sport Golf Club, which organizes charity golf tournaments to support nonprofit organizations, and he serves on the boards of the Franklin County Board of Developmental Disabilities and the Ohio Association of County Boards. He is also a Community Board Member at COSI, where he advocates for STEM education.

Davis has received several awards and recognitions, including Who’s Who in Black Columbus 2023, the 2024 Columbus Smart 50 Award, and the Top 100 Global Tech Leaders Award.
