Effie Kilmer Appointed Director of Data Governance Product Growth & Partner GTM at Microsoft

(US and Canada) Microsoft has appointed Effie Kilmer as Director of Data Governance Product Growth & Partner GTM. Previously, Kilmer served as Chief Data Officer Engagement Lead within Microsoft's Azure Data Governance Platform product group. She has worked in the U.S., Brazil, Africa, and Europe markets, gaining experience in addressing multi-cultural complexities in building enterprise data-driven cultures.

In her prior role, Kilmer focused on strategic initiatives, shaping Microsoft’s Azure Data Governance Platform and working closely with clients across various regions to define product strategy and foster business relationships.

In 2023, Kilmer was recognized by CDO Magazine as one of the 40 Under 40 Data Leaders, highlighting her contributions to data governance.

In addition to her professional responsibilities, Kilmer is involved in programs supporting diversity and inclusion. She serves on the Women's Bond Club Career Committee, where she helps college-level women secure internships in the financial services industry, and is a member of the Enterprise Data Management Council, participating in its Americas Committee.
