Richardson is a seasoned technology leader with deep expertise in data, analytics, and artificial intelligence. He brings a wealth of experience in financial services technology and transformation.
Known for his business-oriented and results-driven approach, Richardson has a track record of reshaping technology organizations into high-performing teams that deliver tangible value for both customers and shareholders. His leadership is marked by an emphasis on Lean-Agile delivery, operational excellence, and fostering a corporate culture of innovation and efficiency.
Before joining First Citizens Bank, Richardson served as CIO of Enterprise Data, Analytics, and AI at Ally. There, he was responsible for leading the institution’s data and analytics strategy, overseeing platforms for data and AI, and enhancing tools to empower both customers and employees. His role encompassed a wide range of responsibilities, including data governance, data stewardship, data lifecycle management, and building enterprise AI literacy.
