(US and Canada) The Government of Ontario has appointed Joyce Drohan as Chief Technology Officer. With a remarkable career spanning over 25 years, Drohan has held executive-level positions in various industries, including the private sector, management consulting, and the public sector. Her unique background in strategy, transformation, innovation, and operations has made her an invaluable leader, team member, and trusted advisor.
Drohan most recently served as Chief Data Officer, Global Head of Data, and Global SVP at Sanofi. She is an accomplished digital leader and strategist recognized for her exceptional achievements in driving data-enabled transformation and delivering value at the enterprise scale.
Throughout her career, she has delivered exceptional results across a wide range of sectors, including financial services, insurance, telecommunications, consumer goods, energy, and resources, with a particular focus on healthcare, life sciences, and government.
Drohan is a collaborative leader who has orchestrated and executed large-scale technical transformations on a global scale, both in the private and public sectors. She has consistently achieved impactful outcomes through the implementation of diverse solutions such as computational models, machine learning, artificial intelligence, data platforms, governance, and visual and operational analytics.
Her expertise spans multiple domains, including commercial, customer, supply chain, consumer health, manufacturing, operations, and research and development. She holds a position on the CDO Magazine Global Editorial Board, showcasing her contributions to the field of data.
