(US and Canada) We are pleased to welcome Mark Brady to CDO Magazine’s Global Editorial Board. Brady is the Deputy Chief Data Officer of the Test Resource Management Center (TRMC) at KBR. The TRMC plays a pivotal role in furnishing essential testing and evaluation capabilities, aimed at the development, acquisition, fielding, and enduring support of reliable and efficient weapons systems to address the present and future requirements of the warfighter.

Brady's esteemed professional journey spans significant leadership positions. His role as the former Chief Data Officer of the U.S. Space Force, coupled with his tenure as the Chief Data Officer of the Air Force Space Command, solidifies his reputation as a seasoned expert in data management. Furthermore, his contributions as a Data Architect for the Department of Justice and an Information Architect for the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) stand as a testament to his prowess in establishing groundbreaking data management programs and policies across these entities. Brady's influence extended even to policy development within the National Atmospheric and Oceanic Administration (NOAA).

During his tenure at NMFS, Brady's reach extended to international platforms as he assumed the role of U.S. delegate to the United Nations Centre for Trade Facilitation and Electronic Business (UN/CEFACT). Here, he played an instrumental role in crafting new data standards, showcasing his global impact. Moreover, his involvement in NOAA's Big Data Partnership Council and the White House Data Cabinet while at the Department of Justice underscores his commitment to fostering collaborative data governance.

Before entering the federal service, Brady's contributions spanned diverse domains in industry R&D. His expertise encompassed realms such as software development, automotive engineering, computer-aided design, biotechnology, medical electronics, traffic management, and artificial intelligence, highlighting his multifaceted skills.

Brady's academic journey included a notable role as a Professor of Neuroscience. Within this capacity, he not only imparted knowledge but also conducted original research in the domains of statistics, optics, and perception, further solidifying his reputation as an erudite scholar.

Adding to his rich portfolio, Brady is a distinguished former Marine, illustrating his dedication to service and country.
