Payal Thakur, JobsOhio Director of Enterprise Analytics and CAO, Joins CDO Magazine Global Editorial Board

A proven executive leader, Thakur has over 15 years of strong expertise in BI and analytics, tools, technology, architecture, advanced analytics, data governance, management, public speaking, and senior management. Her experience has enabled her to build high-performance teams and drive progressive results. In addition, she has spearheaded large projects in accounting and finance for more than 13 years.

Prior to joining JobsOhio, Thakur served as Head of BI and Analytics (Enterprise Business Intelligence Service Owner) at the State of Ohio. Her key competencies, technology, and tools proficiency encompass business intelligence strategy, data analytics, reporting and analytics, data strategy, financial services and budgeting data strategy, enterprise insights, SLDC, KPIs, management, data-driven solutions, data modeling, thought leadership, vendor management, enterprise solutions, governance, audits and compliance, custom and scalable solutions, advisory, and enterprise data warehousing (EDW).

Her expertise also extends to SQL, predictive analytics, SAS, machine learning, ai concepts, team building, global and custom data models, PeopleSoft, Cognos, Hyperion, Tableau, excel, data lake, big data, AWS, SAAS, cloud, Hadoop, Alteryx, Snowflake, agile, and ITIL methodologies.
