(US and Canada) Harmonia Holdings Group, a provider of technology solutions to the U.S. federal government, has appointed Dr. Rod Fontecilla as Chief Innovation and AI Officer. Fontecilla will work alongside Dr. Marc Abrams and Assad Moini to set up a Technology and Innovation Council (TIC) that will support Harmonia’s efforts to provide the most advanced capabilities and solutions to meet the current and future needs of customers.

The TIC is supported by the recent strategic investment from Madison Dearborn Partners, LLC (MDP) and will be a key differentiator for the company as they develop solutions that help federal government customers harness the power of data to ensure mission success. Using Agile and DevSecOps approaches, the company supports the modernization of government customers’ software and systems to enhance their use of AI/ML, cybersecurity, data, and cloud.

Fontecilla is a seasoned technology executive with over 35 years of experience driving digital innovation across both the federal and commercial sectors. He has been instrumental in guiding organizations through the complexities of AI adoption and advanced data analytics. He has successfully deployed AI solutions across diverse missions, including combating fraud and money laundering, reducing government grant award times to lower costs, and driving R&D efforts. He most recently served as the Chief Innovation Officer of Guidehouse Inc., where he led innovation across the multi-billion-dollar organization.
