According to Chaillan, one of the major emerging concerns is talent. He notes a massive opportunity for self-learning and urges universities to update their IT curriculum annually. He says a degree should be relevant when students graduate; they should not have to spend another year to catch up with the industry.

Chaillan says that DevSec stacks are increasingly becoming the target. Cybercriminals hack one provider to access thousands of companies. He adds that, unfortunately, only some organizations embrace the DevSecOps concept, leading to massive breaches.

Speaking about mentors who shaped his career, Chaillan highlights his parents — who helped him set up a company when he was 15 — and his early employees and friends who participated in his journey.
