(US and Canada) Daren Hubbard, VP of Information Technology and Chief Information Officer at Georgia Institute of Technology, speaks with Katrina Adkins, Director of Education Solutions at SHI, in a video interview about his role at the institute and the things that drive him as a professional.

Hubbard has been the CIO at Georgia Tech for the past two years. He says his current to-do list could keep him busy for the next three to five years. Despite the constant additions to that list, Hubbard says he enjoys being close to the action where people's lives are impacted. The experience is about helping students and faculty members achieve their goals. He adds that it is also about incorporating and engaging with great technology.

When asked if he is open to expanding his knowledge beyond Georgia Tech, Hubbard says he is always open to helping organizations. Elaborating, Hubbard says he is interested in learning and sharing his experiences. He acknowledges that he does not know everything and tries to learn daily. Hubbard concludes by stating he looks forward to engaging and interacting with as many people as possible.
