Weddings Designed Distinctly for You

Kevin Ford of Ford-Ellington Floral & Wedding Design creates a wedding design for each engaged couple that is unique to them. He personally sits down with each couple, shows them 4,500 wedding images as examples, and then brainstorms with them to design their perfect wedding.

"Then, I create a design that is truly theirs," says Ford, the principal and owner of Ford-Ellington. "We continue to fine-tune the design until they’re excited about every detail. I want them to feel like I’ve listened and that they’re getting their dream wedding, not a wedding I dreamed for them."

Ford-Ellington creates the entire wedding space aesthetic: from tablecloths and napkins fabric to the look of the china and furniture, and overall room design at the venue. Ford recently designed a wedding that had three events throughout an entire weekend.

"I started designing it a year ago: the fourth I’ve created for this family," Ford says.

The grooms’ dream wedding design was rustic with a modern twist. Ford found a weathered oak dance floor in Cleveland, modern ghost chairs from Columbus and wooden vineyard chairs from a local vendor.

"I love the entire process: from the first meeting to showing the newlyweds the completed space on their wedding day." Ford says. "There is nothing like exceeding my clients’ expectations."
