For Bob Dames and Ed Biery, co-owners of Flipdaddy’s Brilliant Burgers & Craft Beer Bar, the burger business is anything but a job. It’s a lifelong passion, a dream that has come to fruition. A labor of love. 

The enthusiastic visionaries have built a solid partnership while carving out a corner of the Greater Cincinnati market, earning a reputation for exceptional quality and locally sourced food.

Their impeccable attention to detail and responsiveness to customer feedback has earned the attention of their customers, building a devoted fan base and distinguishing their brand. 

Customers rave about the unique twist on the classic American burger and vast selection of beers (between 24 to 39 varieties are on tap). They are committed to maintaining their commitment to only using the highest quality and freshest ingredients. Across all markets, they connect with local vendors for everything from cheese to meat to bread to ensure quality is not compromised.

Biery and Dames have a holistic approach to growth, constantly striving to innovate and improve every aspect of the business. Customer satisfaction is their top priority but what many may not realize is this focus also extends to their associates. The owners have established an "associates-first" philosophy, which recognizes if their employees are happy, then their guests will also be happy. 

To date, the duo has successfully opened four locations – Newport and Union in Kentucky and Mariemont and Symmes Township in Ohio. Flipdaddy’s growth is just ramping up; the owners have a robust plan to expand their brand across the region and beyond. 

Flipdaddy’s latest venture is an expansion into catering. Dames recognized the growing demand to serve corporate and large-scale functions. With that, the idea was born for a catering division, which is headed up by Scott Moody. Flipdaddy’s catering menu offers a wide range of items from their full restaurant menu including their famous, mouth-watering burgers, appetizers, salads, sandwiches, wraps and a one-of-a-kind brilliant burger buffet.
