The First Annual Gourmet Melodies

The first annual Gourmet Melodies was held on August 15 at the The Center in the Mercantile Building, the original home of the Contemporary Arts Center. The high ceilings and unique lighting provided a warm, welcoming environment to host a benefit for Hospital of Cincinnati. 

The expansive floor plan with its gallery style rooms provided a perfect setting for the various musical groups which provided subtle, yet engaging melodies for the evening. These offerings included a jazz saxophonist, a classical guitarist, A bluegrass band, an a capella quartet style group, and a string quartet. 

Linen-covered tables were spread with delicious food, leveled gourmet desserts and beautifully prepared delicacies. Other tables were set with crystal glasses for dedicated pairings of fine wine and craft beers. A silent auction was available set against the lighting backdrop of various hues of blues and reds. The mood was light and casual for this evening dedicated to show support to the experienced, compassionate, end of life care offered by Hospice of Cincinnati.
