The Backstage Event Center, a loft-style space above Nicholson’s Tavern and the Horse & Barrel Bourbon House, finished a full renovation last fall to offer terrific options for hosting any or all of your wedding celebrations, from ceremonies to receptions and showers. Overlooking the heart of the theatre district, you and your guests will enjoy this warm, urban, vibrant setting. 

The venue has increased its capacity to accommodate 130 guests seated with a dance floor or 300 guests cocktail/reception style. The space can be configured for a variety of options. Two attractive terraces offer functional seating and room to host a cocktail reception or intimate ceremony. The flexible, rustic-modern interior can provide separate cocktail and reception areas, allowing you to conveniently host your ceremony and reception in the same building, or you can leave it wide open and let the celebration fill a dramatically beautiful space with city views from every angle. The Backstage Event Center is also an awesome setting for your rehearsal dinner, a welcoming reception for guests or brunch the morning after your wedding.
