Lifestyle home” may not be the first phrase that comes to mind when considering retirement living options, but The Christian Village of Mason is working to challenge that perception.

The community’s new Manor Home layout offers options not often found in an adult living community – spacious homes with two-car garages, three bedrooms, three full bathrooms, master bedrooms with his and her walk-in closets, large dining rooms, private terraces and open concept living spaces with vaulted ceilings. Lizz Stephens, Vice President of Business Development at Christian Village Communities, says the Manor Home concept will appeal to a growing segment of seniors who aren’t ready to stop hosting guests or to give up the space found in a traditional single-family home. The development still offers its popular Garden Home plan, which features some of the highlights of the new Manor Home plan like attached garages and four-season solariums, but with a smaller footprint.

“When two side-by-side independent living Garden Homes vacated, we looked at it as a unique opportunity to combine the two homes into a large, premium floor plan,” Stephens explains. “Our desire is to offer a new option for active seniors who are looking for a space to entertain and have guests.”

In addition to the new Manor Home and Garden Home floorplans, the community offers assisted living Garden Apartments, which include meal service and some medical services, memory support living options, long-term nursing care and short-term, restorative care at The Grace Center.
