Wentz Design continues to focus on commercial and high-end residential architectural work as they celebrate their 12th year in business. Wentz Design is an, energetic architecture firm that delivers beautiful, creative and functional solutions for clients. 

This year Wentz Design is excited to work on a warehouse conversion to a single-family home project in Over-the-Rhine. It will be a LEED gold or LEED platinum endeavor.  

"We’re really excited about this project," says Mike Wentz, AIA and owner of Wentz Design. "It’s 60-feet wide and 250-feet deep, the building has basically been abandoned and the roof fell in, so we’re going to demo (demolish) everything except for the four walls. 

"We’re going to build a new home in the first 50 or 60 feet and the rest of the warehouse will be an open backyard with 25-foot walls around it – they’ll have a huge backyard in the middle of Over-the-Rhine and no one will know." 

The residence will be very unassuming from the outside. This is one of the many projects Wentz Design is working on this year. Wentz Design’s strong relationships with builders and previous clients continue to pay off as the firm adds business each year. As Wentz Design continues to take on more projects they hope to add more talent to the team. 

"We love to be the first call and craft the client’s vision around their dreams," says Wentz. "We do a great job of maximizing design impact while keeping the project within budget. We maximize creativity to create fun spaces within the client’s needs.
