New Mason Christian Village Rehab Wing Your Road to Recovery

“There was a patient who was transferred here from a hospital,” recalls Bob Slade, executive director of Mason Christian Village, “This patient had lost the ability to walk, talk and perform basic, everyday activities. 

“After working with our rehab therapists,” continues Slade, “The patient is now able to function independently again! In fact, they were so pleased with our team and our community, they moved into one of our Garden Apartments and made Mason Christian Village their permanent home.” Continuing to ensure such physical rehabilitation success stories are common place at Mason Christian Village. The community plans to open their new rehab wing before the end of the year, which will be an addition to their current nursing area.

“The new wing will have 20 private suites, a state-of-the-art therapy gym and its own dining room,” explains Lizz Stephens, Mason Christian Village’s marketing director. “The private rooms are equipped with Wi-Fi and have plenty of space for friends and family to visit.”

Not only will the new rooms be spacious and comfortable, but patients will receive Mason Christian Village’s award-winning care.

“This is our second year in a row that we received a deficiency-free state nursing survey,” says Slade, “This contributed to a 5-star rating by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. A very low percentage of nursing centers surveyed receive a 5-star rating.”

The community was also voted “Best of the North Nursing Facility 2013-2014” by readers of Cincy Magazine.
