A Renaissance Man

Jay Bedi can do it all. 

Since moving to the United States from India 28 years ago, Bedi has worked in a number of industries. His first business venture was as the owner and DJ of Dhol Dhamaka DJ Services. Bedi soon opened his first restaurant, Bombay Palace Indian Restaurant and Bar, and worked in the hotel industry at the Westin Cincinnati and Omni Netherland Plaza Hotel (now Hilton), before moving to Chicago. While there, Bedi worked for the W Hotel as banquet manager. 

By the time Bedi moved back to Cincinnati, he had a wealth of knowledge and experience. In 2008, he opened Elements Event Centre and Elements Limousine Service, a family business. 

"Elements is a brand," says Bedi. "We started as a banquet hall and added our own catering, party rentals, event planning, limousine – everything it takes to make Elements a one-stop shop. All you have to do is call me and I’ll make it happen.

"What I learned from my years in the hotel industry is to never say, ‘No.’ We go out of our way to make planning an event easy. Great service is what we’re known for."

Bedi recently started Smart Technology Solutions Cincinnati (STS) as an extension of the Elements brand. Bedi now offers in-house audio, video, lighting and networking. 

From weddings to corporate events, galas, concerts and more, if the client can dream it, Bedi can make it happen.
