After dating for a year and a half, Daniel was ready to spend the rest of his life with Amanda. He planned a memorable proposal at Jeff Ruby’s Steakhouse with the help of family and friends. The restaurant was a special location for the couple: he took Amanda there on their first date.

"He tricked me, I was with his daughters and my son when a limo came up to the house and gave us all roses," says Amanda. "I thought this was going to be a family, special dinner night out and that’s what he played it off as. As we’re getting into the limo I thought, ‘Where’s Dan?’ So I sent him a text and he said, ‘Oh, I have a surprise for you so just enjoy the ride.’

"I didn’t know where we were going and the limo stopped at Jeff Ruby’s, so I was excited because we only go there for special occasions. When we walked in, there were about 20 of our family and friends lined up in two rows with roses in their hands making a rose tunnel for me to walk under. At the end of the tunnel he was down on one knee with my son next to him and asked me to marry him!"

After saying, "Yes," the couple celebrated with family and friends at the restaurant.

Amanda wanted to have a fairy tale wedding and Kathy Piech-Lukas of Your Dream Day helped bring her vision to fruition. Piech-Lukas organized the four-day wedding celebration with more than 200 guests.

"Our ceremony was truly something out of a dream," says Amanda. "The church was so beautiful the way they had it set up and decorated. I couldn’t imagine a prettier setup."
