FASHION: Venue Magazine Presents 'Chic in the Streets'

For the fall issue of Venue Magazine, the team trekked down to one of Cincinnati's local gems to capture the vibrancy and culture of the season in the new fashion spread. Combined with gorgeous fall garments from Saks Fifth Avenue, Findlay Market was the perfect backdrop for this shoot, providing both colorful and vivid backdrops and a sense of community that makes the season one to love for many Cincinnatians. 

Over-the-Rhine and Findlay Market possess plenty of history for Cincinnati, and from the farmers' markets to the shops in the area, the location perfectly encapsulated the shopping and outdoor experiences that everyone craves when the temperatures drop and the leaves begin to change. As fashion shifts into heavier sweaters, long-sleeved dresses and covered skin, venturing outdoors somehow becomes more appealing than it had in the hot, humid summer months. Suddenly, holding a hot mug of coffee while perusing produce and other fruits of the harvest, or carefully selecting a pumpkin and other fall decor become ideal options for ways to spend time outdoors and in the community.

Stylists Jami Shell and Becki Greenlee, with Eye Do Makeup & Hair pulled each look together with the perfect fall hairstyles and makeup pallettes to embody a complete scene. Photographer Wes Battoclette perfectly captured each image of model Courtney Dozier, of Wings Model Management, and each image has been put together to bring a sense, not just of great fashion, but of the season and what it brings to Cincinnati.
