The strength of a business is supported by the vigor and tenacity of those who work to make the company great. It is the incredible passion of the team at Four Seasons Catering that has enabled it to become one of the best catering firms in Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.

Co-owner Melinda Gayon explains that the company, although corporate, functions as a mom-and-pop shop where everyone works collaboratively to fulfill the needs of the company.

"We are like an onion," Gayon says. "We are all joined together and everyone does everything. We cook, bake, wash dishes, do prep work, pretty much everything that is needed to get the job done and we do it as a collaborative effort. Teamwork is very important in this company."

Though Four Seasons Catering operates as a full-service vendor for weddings, corporate and social events, their expanse of services doesn’t stop there. They also offer a tantalizing selection of yummy baked goods to tempt any sweet tooth.

The baked goods at Four Seasons Catering were met with so much success that local restaurants and coffee shops began requesting to sell them. Without the specific intention, Four Seasons Catering expanded to become a supplier of baked goods. Their ability to innovate and adapt has enabled them to continually grow as a company and for Gayon and her husband and co-owner, Chef Michael, Le Cordon Bleu Paris trained, the sky is the limit.

As the company has continued to expand, new faces have joined the team. Chef Bobbie Meredith was hired recently as sous chef. He brought a strong culinary background and immense restaurant experience with him, but it is his love and passion for food that makes him such a valuable asset.

"I have been cooking since a very young age," Meredith says. "My mom helped instill a passion for the culinary arts and she taught me how to cook from scratch."

Four months ago, Brandi Crank joined Four Seasons Catering as baker and line chef. Trained in baking, it wasn’t until she joined the company that she felt truly able to invoke her creativity and embrace the art of baking.

"I love baking and I am encouraged to experiment and come up with new recipes," Crank says.

It is incredibly important for the Gayons to operate a business where they build into their team as well as their clients. "We are out there to enjoy people and help them to have a fantastic event," Melinda says. "It is so important for us to create a gorgeous event from the scrumptious food to beautiful and personalized décor while delivering superior customer service. We take great pride in watching people enjoy our food.

"At the end of the day we are caterers, catering to all of our customer’s needs," she says. "It is a crazy, hectic and stressful job, but we attack it with extreme enthusiasm and great gusto, determined to make your special day the best day possible."
