Tony’s Steaks and Seafood has been a fine-dining staple in Cincinnati since 2010. Its new location in Lexington offers the same dynamic mixture of excellent food, delectable drinks and warm service.

With more than 30 years of hospitality experience, Tony Ricci knows how to serve others exceptionally well. “A sense of hospitality has always been in my person. Being Italian, our greatest moments were at the dinner table.”

Ricci explains how his career, which began at a retirement community, fueled his decision to have a future in serving others. “The experience of being able to put smiles on the faces of lonely people reinforced what was already within me – I could make people happy with food and service.”

Ricci has a natural way of making people feel genuinely welcome. When you walk into his restaurant, you’re the most important person there. Whether you’re wearing a tux or come in after a game of golf, Tony treats everyone with importance. You don’t have to be somebody to be treated like somebody.

The heightened level of service and impeccable quality of food has made Tony’s Steaks and Seafood a top Zagat-rated restaurant in Cincinnati. Ricci opened his Lexington restaurant in March. Across the street from Rupp Arena in the recently renovated Square, the new location is in a handsome historic building. The sweeping staircase sets the tone of grandeur upon entering the restaurant, and leads to a capacious private dining space.

Both locations have dedicated facilities and staff to accommodate events from wedding rehearsal dinners to corporate lunches, or your own personal dining experience. Conversely, the bar area is ideal for popping in for a refreshing respite before or after a game. The bar menu differs significantly from the standard bar fare you’ll find at other restaurants; it is full of lick-your-plate-clean kind of dishes, including Tony’s signature prime stuffed burger and a raw bar filled with icy-cold mammoth shrimp, crab legs and oysters.

Tony’s of Lexington caters to the local palate by serving Southern delicacies including shrimp and grits, an enormous pork chop, braised greens, and a cinnamon-infused house-made marshmallow and sweet potato dish.

Aside from owning two award-winning restaurants, Ricci also makes it a point to give back to the community. “Tony is humbled and grateful to have the success that he does,” says Lauren Landers, director of marketing. “You won’t see a lot of fanfare, but he gives back in a myriad of ways to various groups and organizations.”

Visit either of Tony’s locations to experience what sets them apart from any other restaurant. “It’s not just about great food – there are other places where you can get a great meal,” says Ricci. “It is about that one-of-a-kind evening where everything is clicking. The ambiance, the energy of the staff, the smiles on our guests’ faces – it all spells a memorable evening.”
