The U.S. Secret Service (USSS) is looking for a Chief Data Officer (CDO) to lead the agency’s data operations. The CDO will support the development, integration, and fielding of data governance and analytic systems and processes to support the agency's integrated mission.

“The Chief Data Officer (CDO) will assist the Chief Strategy Officer within the Office of Strategy, Planning, and Innovation (OSP) in their responsibility for planning, directing, and coordinating various operational management and program areas to include: data governance; data analytics; agency records management; and other related activities which support the USSS protective and investigative operations,” the job posting reads.

Roles and responsibilities include overseeing, planning, managing, and implementing data governance, analytics, and records management for USSS operations. 

Responsibilities also include developing lifecycle cost estimates, serving as a technical expert in procurement, guiding data management policies, and aligning program requirements with agency goals through strategic planning and executive collaboration.
